The Fair Plan is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of fair officials selected from the membership. The Board of Directors contracts with a qualified administrator to perform daily duties of the Fair Plan. The Board reviews the administrator’s performance and provides the strategic direction of the Fair Plan. The administrator provides underwriting, risk control, accounting and claims services for the Fair Plan. Legal counsel, actuarial and auditing services are provided independently under separate out side contracts.
