The purpose of the Ohio Fair Participating Plan is to jointly exercise powers common to each participating member to establish and administer a risk management program as authorized by Ohio Revised Code 2744. The program is to prevent or lessen the incidence and severity of losses occurring from the activities of the members; and to defend and protect members of the Fair Plan against allegations of negligence or loss.
